Essay: Critical Analysis of a Digital Humanities Project: Shakespeare’s Staging

Introduction

Literary critics and enthusiasts are motivated by certain aspects that define their love for art and the ability of literary materials to provoke their thought process by exposing them to a non-existent world. In this ideal environment, individuals are more reliable than their weaknesses and can visualize different solutions that should be used to address problems affecting individuals. Literature exposes individuals to an enabling environment where they can interact with non-existent characters who entertain, inform, and even criticize their behavior. This aspect ends up defining personalities in the world today. Shakespeare’s staging in a project that presents the much-needed space for literary enthusiasts to satisfy their love for art and overcome problems affecting them in their immediate environment.

Critical Perspective

I am satisfied with the approach that has been taken by the platform to share information about Shakespeare and how his influence on the literary world can be accessed. Initially, creators encountered problems connecting with their audiences because of structural hindrances that affected the quality of communication between the two population groups. Creators anticipate their target audience to immediately connect with their work and offer feedback and constructive criticism that will make them even better. However, the link between creators and their audiences is controlled by a chain of cartels that control the flow of information, making it impossible for the two groups to interact. However, the humanities project presents an opportunity for creators to directly interact with their audience, who can even seek clarification on specific texts in their write-ups. Going forward, the project should incorporate videos where creators can offer briefs regarding particular incidents in their literary materials.

Conclusion

The Shakespeare’s staging in a project that presents the much-needed space for literary enthusiasts to satisfy their love for art and overcome problems affecting them in their immediate environment. Developing an interactive platform where creators can connect with their target audience plays a significant role in encouraging individuals to focus on certain aspects that inspire people to focus on challenges affecting their lives. When creating these avenues, the developers are committed to address a problem with the hope of transforming the issue into an opportunity. The digital humanities project has succeeded in its attempts to empower the student fraternity by exposing them to their instructors and other industry players.
