Students will develop an environmental or social sustainability change project (home or organization) through both a paper and a slide presentation. Students will select a change that is sustainable and eco-friendly (if this is a personal lifestyle change, it must be a change that is currently not being performed). Students will research how this change affects individual lives and the lives of the greater community through better use of resources and sustainable practices. Part 1: The paper will include: introduction to the change project; a discussion on the current state of the proposed change and the expected state of the future change; apply learned leadership theory to the change and discuss how this theory (or theories) can address expected and/or anticipated outcomes; an evaluation that includes data-driven outcomes that derive an understanding of how this change affects the individual personally and the lives of the greater community; a conclusion that reflects on key findings. * Use the words in bold as your headings. Students will write a 6 – 8 page paper (not including cover, abstract, and references), using APA style, 12-point double spaced Times New Roman font, and include a minimum of five (5) quality references. As portions of this paper pertain to personal reflection, the student has the option of writing in first-person (using pronouns: I, we, us, them, etc.) or third-person, but do not switch back and forth.
