While many people might view the relationship between art and science as a current conversation, the comparison has been in existence for the longest time now. Individuals in the medieval world have always viewed the two subjects to be closely related because of their impact on people’s perspectives. Given the fact that one cannot substitute the two from any conversation, there is a need to observe the aspects that contribute towards the existence of essential services that can improve outcomes in their surroundings. For example, the composition of design and engineering demonstrates the two aspects in play where individuals can develop artistic impressions by relying on the principles of science. From this realization, one can barely function without the other because of their close relation that leads individuals to make informed decisions concerning their execution and implementation of ideas. Art and science are crucial components of our lives that contribute to the realization of different objectives, which influence our ability to overcome problems.
Apart from the design and engineering example that demonstrates the relationship between art and science, the modern man has continued to rely on their correlation to develop innovative solutions to problems occurring today. In this regard, understanding the issues affecting people’s lives has created an innovative solution that continues to help people achieve their desired objectives. For instance, the relationship between art and science is manifested by the ability of music composers to use mathematical functions to develop inspirational musical pieces (Zhu & Goyal, 2019). From this realization, creative thinking is the backbone of any artistic impressions because of the ability of an individual to utilize their abilities to explore nonconventional options that demonstrate their potential. Any piece of art is a product of creativity that is displayed by an individual in an attempt to accomplish various goals that define their purpose in life. The ability of an individual to develop interesting artistic impressions demonstrates their ability to overcome problems that occur in their immediate environment.
It should be noted that the development of innovation and technology in the 1980s focused on producing tools that addressed a particular problem affecting people’s lives. Over the years, there has been a visible change that has taken place in the approach taken by mobile manufacturers and their desire to develop various products. A close look at the nature of mobile phones that were produced thirty years ago and now will demonstrate a clear distinction in their visual appeal (Hudson, 2017). Unlike the ancient phones, the current smartphones have a balance between their outward appearance and their ability to achieve numerous functions. In this case, the relationship between art and science has become more evident with time, as different manufacturers edge closer to developing innovative products that have a certain aesthetic appeal. Notably, the consumer market has become appreciative to the attempts by mobile manufacturers to meet their expected threshold on the outward appearance of various technological gadgets such as PCs, phones, and smart watches. For this reason, curiosity and creativity leads to the development of innovative products that appeal to the perspectives of individuals towards life.
Another demonstration of the relationship between art and science is manifested by the games played by young people today. When playing God of War or Call of Duty: Black Ops, one can only appreciate the effort has been put in place by the game developers to produce an artistic impression that meets their desired objectives. People who played Super Mario or Grand Theft Auto are more aware of the changes that have taken place over the years regarding game development. In this regard, the relationship between the science of coding and the production of appealing images that meet the changing needs of the gaming community will not only enhance the cognitive functions of individuals but also their perspectives towards the relationship. Currently, the level of technological innovation and creativity is on the rise, an aspect that reveals the expected impact of the relationship between art and science on people’s perspectives towards life (Kaufman, Quilty, Grazioplene, Hirsh, Gray, Peterson, & DeYoung, 2016). On one aspect, the relationship will become more defined as individuals interact with different aspects of existence. Therefore, understanding the need to display the relationship between the two aspects will only lead to the development of impressive products that meet the changing needs of individuals.
Art and science are crucial components of our lives that contribute to the realization of different objectives, which influence our ability to overcome problems. From this perspective, individuals can now appreciate the relationship between the two components of life that allow individuals to solve problems affecting their lifestyles. Importantly, people should focus on the ability to integrate the two aspects to overcome issues that contribute to their changing needs. Although one can neglect the existence of art when developing any innovative product, it has become impossible for individuals to discover their potential and accomplish their changing needs, which reflect on their ability to become better. Likewise, the public are now demanding manufacturers to consider their needs, an aspect that have equipped them with a higher bargaining power than other stakeholders in the business environment.
