Provide a working definition of spirituality.

Explain why occupational and physical therapists may be interested in the spiritual aspect of elderly clients.

Do you believe that spirit is located within human beings, perhaps at the very core of human beings? Or do you believe that spirit is shared among humans, and binds humans to one another in some mysterious cosmic way?

Do you acknowledge that spirituality has spirit as its root, and therefore to discuss spirituality, we need to be explicit about what we mean by spirit? Or do you have a more vague and generic definition of spirituality that is not necessarily based on the root-word spirit?
