Critically review chapter 12 and answer the following :

1. In research, strength of evidence is very important. How will a research use inclusion and exclusion criteria to contribute to increasing the strength of evidence of the sampling strategy in a research study?

2. What is power analysis and why is it important for a researcher to use power analysis to calculate a sample size?

3. As a researcher, having adequate sample size is important. How will having adequate sample size take care of /affect of the following: 

a) subject mortality.b) representativeness of the sample.c) the researcher’s ability to detect a treatment effect.d) your ability to generalize the study findings to your patient population.4. What is your cosmic question? (This is a question you ask your peers to respond to based on the chapter discussed in class this week i.e. Sample Size).
