Do you think the public is too concerned about this threat or not concerned enough?

We face a number of threats, both man-made and natural.  This week, I would like to discuss the different threats. Here is the assignment:

1. Review the topics posted by others and identify a threat that has not been discussed
2. Write the name of the threat in the subject line.  Be specific.  Write about hurricanes, not natural disasters.  Write about mass shootings, not terrorism.
3. In the body, include (to the extent possible)

• Describe the threat.
• How prevalent is the threat?
• How much damage does it cost?
• do you think the public is too concerned about this threat or not concerned enough?
• What can be done to mitigate the threat?
• Where would you place this threat on your list of priorities?  Why?
