claim: It is permissible for large, profitable companies and corporations to fund and/or donate to elections or political campaigns explanation of the claim very carefully in common sense vocabulary by what the claim itself means and the terms involved in the claim. reasons: each reasons is directed to be numbered in Arabic numerals. there should be four reasons for the claim. each reason must be unpacked in a whole paragraph. each reason must have moral/ ethical significance. reason against claim: hypothetically countering the claim or a counter argument to why the claim doesn’t hold. there should be four reasons against the claim as well. each unpacked into a whole paragraph. decision: decide which set of reasons (against claim) is a stronger set. explain why that set is stronger. this part must be a full paragraph. rebuttal: provide a counter argument against each reason in the the reasons you found weaker. (the ones not chosen from decision) counter argue the reasons into 2 paragraphs. appendix : (claim, explanation of claim, reasons for/against, decision and rebuttals) should appear on the paper.
