Movie or Current Event Paper

1. Select a movie or television show that features the family.  Analyze the film applying the three major perspectives to three different scenes in the movie.  So you will apply Conflict Theory, Symbolic Interactionist Theory, and Structural Functionalist Theory to three or more scenes in the movie in 2 full pages, double-spaced, 12 point font, 1-inch margins, the paper saved as a PDF.   Make sure that your name, title of the movie, and class are included in the paper. 2. Select one or more current events that relate to a topic that we have covered in class.  Discuss the current event and relate it to the material we have covered in the assigned readings and/or modules.  Include one theory to explain the topic.  Your current event analysis should be 2  full pages, double-spaced, 12 point font, 1-inch margins, and saved as a PDF.  Don’t forget to include your name, class, date, and the title of the news source and article.  Upload your PDF to this assignment folder.Movie or Current Event Paper
