Covid19 Discussion question

There are very limited treatments for viral infections.  Antibiotics for example only work for bacterial infections and are based on a specific difference between the bacterial cell and the host cell.  Currently there is a great deal of controversy about treatment options for COVID-19. Locate at least two websites about current treatment research.  Summarize one of the websites for your classmates.  Consider the following questions in your discussion:  What are treatment options?  Why are vaccines an option?  Why does it take so long to develop vaccines? For each Discussion Question you are required to: 1. Respond to the original question by writing a minimum of 400 words about the subject. 2. Included within your response you should list at least one reputable website about the topic (Wikipedia may not be used as your primary website).  DO NOT copy and paste information from websites into your response (see #4 below). 3) Another issue is proper referencing. If you are using a direct quote in your post, it must be in quotation marks and the source identified. I have no objection to one or two sentences being taken directly, but the majority of the discussion should be in your own words. Do not copy and paste whole sections. If I suspect that a student has copied material without referencing it, they will receive a zero for that post.
