You are synthesizing research material into a closely argued essay of 6-10 pages in length in proper MLA style. You are writing an argumentative paper in which you will express a personal opinion or stance (THESIS) on a controversial issue in the topic you have chosen. Then support your thesis with three reasons, counterargument, and conclusion. Write a research paper on one of the following types of obsessive behavior and its possible “transformations” in Chapter 5 “Obsessions and Transformations”, Dreams & Inward Journeys (259): Nightmare, obsession, addiction, depressions, or another related concept, such as a particular type of obsession or obsessive behavior (such as “hunger,” “overuse of computers and cyberspace, addiction to methamphetamine, obsessive compulsive disorder, or other discussed in Chapter 5).
