“Imitation game”, “Pride” and “The Big short”. These films are “biographies” of people and social movements or social events (rather than political or military events). Do these films do “good history”?

Please strictly follow all the guidelines as the professor is a very tough marker and this paper is worth 25% and is important to me. Thank you in advance. This is an essay for Film History course. You have to watch the three films “Imitation game”, “Pride” and the “Big Short” and then explain in the essay if these films do “good history”? View these films and then create a researched and supported argument. Paper must follow the format for the thesis statement: “This paper will prove that..” (and why do you say that?). Pick a particular theme or issue( characters, issues, idea,etc) and make the focus of your argument about the film as good historical analysis. Use minimum of five academic sources for the bibliography in Chicago style. Assignment formatting rules: 1. Double spaced 2. 1” margin (both sides, top and bottom) 3. Times New Roman 12 pt font 4. No extra space between paragraphs (indicate new paragraphs by first line indentation) 5. Justify the left margin but not the right 6. Include name and page number on upper right corner of every page 7. Title in centre above the first line of assignment Assignment structure: -Introduction begins by providing relevant contextual (background) information -Introduction ends with a clear thesis statement -Each paragraph begins with a topic sentence -Paper ends with a conclusion (which just doesn’t restate the thesis but, it rather suggests why this argument is important) Sources -Quotations are used to support the argument -Quotations are properly cited -Paragraphs do not begin or end with quotations -Quotations are introduced with appropriate contextualization and signal phrasing. They are then followed with analysis.
