Frank Luntz believes that cab drivers and antique dealers know more about America than anyone else? Why do you think he feels this way? Do you agree? Why or why not?   2. Luntz “doesn’t do issues, he does language around issues.” Based on what we’ve learned about critical thinking in this course, why do you think this is his approach? What do you see as the advantages? The disadvantages?   3. The video raises the question of whether people like Luntz are helping us to see the issue more clearly or disguise the issue? What do you think?   4. This video first aired in 2004, more than fifteen years ago. How has the election process changed in the last decade? The video asserts that 2004 was the most deceptive election ever. Have the elections that have come since seemed to you to be more or less deceptive? In what ways?   5. After completing your PROP the Vote Essay, do you feel any differently about how to best engage an election as a voter? Did you do anything differently in the research or writing of this essay than in essays you’ve worked on in the past?
