Discussion Board 4: Summarizing a Source

Essay 3 requires you to use the library databases to do research. In this discussion board, you will share a paragraph summarizing one source that you have found. Use academic writing conventions to introduce the author, the title of the piece, and the publication in which it originally appeared. Using third-person point of view, summarize the work in your own words. Include in-text citations within your paragraph. After your summary, include a Works Cited entry, in the correct MLA citation style.  Your post should be 150-200 words.  Remember that all students in this class will be able to read your writing. Take the time to revise and proofread, so that your writing is clear, readable, and free of errors.
