You have decided to work with your local nursing organization to work with the community on an environmental health issue affecting a neighboring community being negative impacted by a potentially toxic environmental issue. The community, consisting primarily of Hispanic,low-income residents, has long suffered from various social determinants of health. You want to bring the community together to help them develop a plan to meet with their local legislators to address and ultimately eliminate the issue.
